Children’s Church volunteer opportunities
- Cleaning/sanitizing the children’s area (can be an occasional commitment, it doesn’t have to be weekly)
- We need nursery workers! It can be as little as once a month or once every 6 weeks. You will need to agree to a background check.
- Come do a special craft project with the kids if you have a special skill/handicraft you would like to teach.
- Provide transportation for events like VBS or regular church on Sundays or Wednesday nights.
- Provide babysitting before church for kids whose “grownups” need to participate in worship practice
- Help maintain the “busy bags” we hand out to kids during worship. It would entail reorganizing them after church, removing trash, and putting in new coloring pages.
- Say “Hi” to the kids and their parents! Smile and be encouraging! The church is meant to be a family.
- Invite kids! Invite your friends with kids or invite any kids in your life.
- PRAY! Pray for the future of the ministry, for god’s love to work its way into the kids’ hearts. Pray for the kids. Pray for the teachers and the parents. Pray for salvation and baptisms!
